Surgical guide

Surgical guides

The individual approach in the preparation of patient’s treatment plan is most relevant to our team. The interdisciplinary approach in planning an implantological treatment ensures functionality, aesthetics and long lasting. We achieve this thanks to the collaboration of a surgeon, a prosthetic doctor and a laboratory. The modern implant placement must be prosthetically driven. We start with the so-called 3D impression by a cutting-edge intraoral scanner. Along with the CBCT imaging, these are the basis for preparing a detailed analysis of the implant position and size by a specialized software. A surgical guide is made in the laboratory that ensures:

  • precision
  • predictability
  • reduction of unforeseen and doctor’s errors during operation
  • reduction of the time for operation
What is a surgical guide? A mould, with one or more openings corresponding to the implants planned to be placed. The correct position and direction of placement is set, based on the preliminary detailed analysis by the software.
